The Color Fields are a series of abstract compositions inspired by the ripples of water and reflections of light through nature. Through this series, Bev Gegen attempts to capture the ephemeral visual experiences of the natural world. These large paintings are layered with acrylic paint and created in her studio in Kansas City, Missouri.
